Author Role

The Editorial Board of the Journal of Counselling and School Psychology invites interested scholars and researchers to submit quality articles for publication in theVolume6, No. 1 (2025 Edition) scheduled to be published in August, 2025. In addition to the print version of the journal, accepted articles will be published online.

Guidelines to Authors:
Authors are advised to adhere strictly to the following guidelines: 1. Manuscripts (in English) should be prepared with MS-word format, Times New Roman, A4 paper size, 12 points font size, double line spacing, 1-inch(2.54 cm) margin on each side and block paragraphing style.
2. Manuscripts should be prepared according to the publication manual of the American Psychological Association (APA) 6 edition. th
3. The first page of the article should contain the title of the article, author(s) information such as name of author(s), address/institution of affiliation, email address and functioning telephone number. The page should also contain abstract of not more than 250 words, single line spacing, italicized form and maximum of five keywords.
4. The whole papers should not exceed 15 pages including abstract and references.
5. Empirical papers should be presented using the following headings: Introduction, Research Questions or Hypotheses (or both), Methodology, Results, Discussion, Conclusion, Recommendations and References.
6. Tables: Tables should be minimal and be numbered in Hindu-Arabic numerals e. g. (Table 1, Table 2 etc.) and should not flow
7. Results: State your research questions or hypotheses before presenting your results in tables and figures with appropriate headings.
8. Reference Style: All in-text citations and references should adhere strictly to the6thEdition of APA referencing style. Visit www.apastyle.org.
9. Position papers should be presented under appropriate and relevant subheadings but with no numbering of headings/subheadings.
10. Manuscripts and proof for payment of assessment fee of Five Thousand Naira (N5,000) only should be sent to the Managing Editor through the following email address:jcsp@aaua.edu.ng.
11. Any article that does comply with the above stipulated guidelines would be returned to the author(s).
12. Publication fee Twenty-five Thousand Naira (N25, 000) only per article.
